PPC wants to be your preferred provider in Florida. From past experience, PPC recognizes that it is difficult to develop and maintain a high quality provider network, especially when considerable distances are involved. Oftentimes, the topography of other states, shifting population centers, proximity concerns and the like, make it a very labor-intensive and uncertain enterprise. PPC can make this task easier and less time-consuming for your company and more convenient for your clients in two ways.

First, by maintaining a professional affiliate network in those Florida locations where you have clients.

Second, after receiving your client referral, PPC will match them with the appropriate network provider – or, when necessary, find a skilled specialist in the least amount of time as dictated by the presenting problem.

How Does PPC work?

When one of your clients requests counseling in Florida, s/he is either warm transferred to PPC or your case manager can contact PPC with available client information. PPC will identify an appropriate affiliate and give the therapist’s contact information to the client or case manager. If you prefer PPC will call the client with that information – there is no need for the client to make more calls than is customary for your company.

PPC is offering as an option, scheduling software to affiliates with Internet access so that PPC can place clients into the therapist’s calendar at the time of the referral, eliminating delay as well as the need for the client to call for an appointment. This is already operational in a number of counties and will soon be available to all affiliates.

PPC will monitor the network and be responsible for adding or replacing affiliates to ensure access and quality of care rendered. Affiliates are responsible for complying with your documentation requirements and, when clinically indicated and permitted by contract, speak with you case manager(s) to request additional authorizations.

PPC will bill your company for authorized EAP services (either using your invoice or ours) and payment will be made directly to PPC.
